Illustrator Mel is tasked with designing a friendly marketing campaign for a drone that maintains public order, but first, he must create its voice.
A short film inspired by the life of legendary cartoonist and voiceover artist Mel Blanc (the voice of Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Tweety, Sylvester, Woody Woodpecker, Barney Rubble, and many more), this ambitious short explores the tension between an artist’s integrity and the need to pay the bills. With VFX by Magiclab and a magnificent score by John Metcalfe, RAV1043 premiered at the Oscar-qualifying Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival.

Directed by the Brothers Lynch, Old Habits is a black comedy-drama set entirely in a funeral parlour as two estranged brothers in their 70's come to pay their respects to their recently deceased father. It's not long before we realise "paying respects" isn't the only thing the brothers are there for. In a flash, guns are drawn and a shoot out of comical proportions takes place as the two brothers attempt to settle their differences... even if it kills them.
It was produced as part of Rankin Film Productions' Collabor8te short film scheme and was produced by Mike Morrison and Paul Harry Thomas for xFilm Productions.
It stars David Warner (Tron, Time Bandits, Titanic) and Ronald Pickup (Best Exotic Marigold Hotel, Prince of Persia) with support from Christopher Hatherall and John Matthews.
A story about unrequited love, focused on a lonely scientist who toils away in a sperm bank.
The Banker is a 2004 live-action film which won the BAFTA Award for Best Short Film. It was written and directed by Hattie Dalton and starred Michael Sheen as a lovelorn scientist working in a sperm bank. As well as the BAFTA win, it was nominated for best short film at the 2005 Chicago International Film Festival, and placed 3rd in the TCM prize at the 2005 London Film Festival.
Trial is written and directed by The Brothers Lynch and produced by Ed Barratt of Hook Pictures.
